This year I had the opportunity to host the TEDx Youth Buffalo. It was so exciting to just host because before I was a speaker and I really enjoyed the opportunity of being on the other side. All the speakers were great and over all this years TEDx Youth was truly epic! Check out the pictures below!
I was given the honor to facilitate one of the workshops at the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Gamma Phi Omega chapter HBCU Think Tank. The conversation with the students was one you would of wanted to hear. The students were active in the conversation, gave their opinion and view on Historical Black Colleges and Universities and Predominately White Institutions. The conversation was so good I hated we had to stop.
I had the opportunity to host the event “Are You Scared To Buck” Dance Competition sponsored by Buffalo All Star Extreme at Hutch Tech high school. This event was a combination of dance teams and some step teams. The competition was so good that I was so happy I was the host and not the judges.
Checkout some of the pictures and videos below to see how great the competition was!
This group of young men were so cute. They did such a great job.

I had the great opportunity to host the Youth Summit for the New York State Association of Black and Puerto Rican Legislators, Inc. which is comprised of 43 Black, Hispanic, and Asian state legislators from districts across the state.
The guest speaker Gabrielle J Williams shared her insight on entrepreneurship and being a young “Go Getta” and the importance of knowing your unique selling value. Not only was the youth motivated and moved but so was adults. After the guest speaker was the talent show. Every youth that performed was so talented and it was truly hard to pick a winner.
