Every year I have the opportunity to host the New York State Step and Drill Competition and every year it gets bigger and bigger!
Check out the photos and video below!
I had the great opportunity to serve as a panelist for Buffalo State College “Ladies Who Brunch” Brunch hosted by the Fashion Student Association. This event was so beautiful and truly a delight to be apart of.
We were born to make and manifest the glory of god that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” ~Marianne Williamson
This quote speaks volume to the many women I look up to, grown up watching and admire from afar and up close. The biggest honor is to be honored with so many women touching so many lives, women I call big sisters, women I admire and women I consider mentors. Because you allowed your light to shine you helped us to allow our light to shine as well. I’m excited to be in the number.
I was nominated and selected to be one of the women to receive the Women Touching The World Award
On the first day of the New Year I was honored to receive an award from the S.E.N.S.E.S foundation. The S.E.N.S.E.S Foundation is a comprehensive tutoring and mentoring program for teens and young adults. The S.E.N.S.E.S. Foundations’ primary agenda is to revitalize our youth and encourage them to use their senses.
Thanks again to the Dr. Loyd and Dr. Curly Brown, Board of Directors and Gala Committee for considering me for this award and the opportunity to share with the youth of S.E.N.S.E.S.
If this was how my 2015 started I know it will only get better!

Rocking the mic is what I love to do but when I have a great DJ mixed with great people its never work, its always fun and a good time. Book me for your next event!
I had the great pleasure of being featured and sharing my story with Black Western New York Magazine. A go to for information in the community the BWNY (Black Western New York) Magazine provides up-building, positive reporting on community-centric content. They have become the voice for a community, everyday citizens, businesses, and community leaders alike. What I love great about this magazine is that they focused on sharing the stories of the Millennial generation and taking it back to the basics allowing them to get connected to their communities and fostering an appreciation for print media.

I had the pleasure to host the 13th annual Young Miss Buffalo Pageant. The Young Miss Buffalo pageant is just one piece of the puzzle to such a great program. Also known as YMBP, Inc. it is not only committed to providing enriching and life changing opportunities to low income young ladies ages 13-17 in the Buffalo area, but young ladies across Western New York. YMBP, Inc. is dedicated to addressing and issues within the community facing all young people, with an emphasis on adolescent females. This is evident in the organization’s commitment to:
- provide scholarships for educational assistance,
- create a safe environment and structure for change to help each participant pursue excellence within themselves, thus enabling them to one day give back to their community, and
- act as a liaison between youth and the community creating more support for the youth in the community by collaborating and building relationships with individuals and organizations that also advocate for and benefit adolescent females.
It is always an honor to host such an event and to support this great organization.
I had the great opportunity to host the annual Talk of The Town Hair and Fashion Show Powered by Get Fresh Productions. I have had the opportunity to host this show for the last several years. The Talk of The Town is Western New York #1 Hair and Fashion Show that showcase the latest, trending and most exclusive hair styles.

This was a true honor for I know that it is beyond important to give back to the community that once gave back to me. Thank you again to The Buffalo Urban League Young Professionals for such an honor.
