ADRI.V Meets Marshawn Evans The Reinvention Strategist

Today  I had the great opportunity to participate in the Marshawn Evans Speak 4 Pay seminar powered by Women In The Spotlight GoinGlobal. I was truly empowered and enlighten by the information shared with us today from Marshawn Evans. She not only informed us of what we were doing wrong in pursuit of developing a speaking career but she shared with us best practice and on what we should be doing next.

If you do not know who Marshawn Evans is please go check her out at www.marshawnevans.com you will thank me later!

Black Caucus Weekend Recap [Youth Summit Experience]

I had the great opportunity to host the Youth Summit for the New York State Association of Black and Puerto Rican Legislators, Inc. which is comprised of 43 Black, Hispanic, and Asian state legislators from districts across the state.

The guest speaker Gabrielle J Williams shared her insight on entrepreneurship and being a young “Go Getta”  and the importance of knowing your unique selling value. Not only was the youth motivated and moved but so was adults.  After the guest speaker was the talent show. Every youth that performed was so talented and it was truly hard to pick a winner.

Check out some of the pics from the summit. Enjoy!
